Hummusson is a small family business from Malmö and one of the city's top-rated vegan food spots. For over seven years we've served hummus and plant-based food from our hummus bar, and together with our customers we developed Europe's first shelf-stable hummus in paper-based packaging, with no added sugar, oil, or preservatives, and shelf-stable at room temperature for 36 months. Dansk Vegetarisk Forening (DVF) is the organiser behind Plant Food Festival and Denmark's oldest association for vegetarians, vegans, and anyone who supports a plant-based lifestyle. Founded in 1896, the association works to promote plant-based eating through education, research, and community. Stop by the stand to hear more about our work, or become a member.

DVF Nutrition Team

The Danish Vegetarian Society's own Nutrition Team focuses on healthy, plant-rich and plant-based diets for athletes and disease prevention. Come by and learn all about life on a plant-based diet.

DIVINFOOD

DIVINFOOD is an EU project focused on promoting crop diversity for food production. Together with Økologisk Landbrug, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and Nordiske Råvarer, the project runs a Nordic Living Lab for grey peas, lentils, faba beans and narrow-leaved lupin. The Living Lab aims to strengthen networks and knowledge-sharing, cultivation and use of these specific crops. The Plant-Based Knowledge Centre primarily maps consumer preferences and tests nudging initiatives that can boost sales of plant-based products, as well as collaboration between retail, processing, farmers and foodservice around increased use of underutilised crops.

Mad på Farten

At the Mad på Farten stand, come by for a chat and quiz about plant-based takeaway, and put together your dream sandwich as inspiration for the eateries we're in dialogue with. We'll also be joined by a highly skilled panel of judges, who will taste their way through the Aarhus takeaway scene, before we hand out the Mad på Farten awards for the best meal and its naming on stage on Saturday.

We're looking forward to inspiring you with delicious samples and good conversations about Danish organic beans, peas and lentils. Of course, you can also take home our Danish legumes and our new cookbook 'Legumes for Everyday' ('Bælgfrugter til hverdag'). We'll also have great festival offers at our stand all weekend.
